Junior Racing
Junior Sailors can compete and race locally and around the world. The FWBC provides starter boats- Optimist – ideal for ages 8-15. The Club 420s are a two person boat and designed for the older racers. The North Texas Sailing clubs in the Dallas-Fort Worth area work together and provide eight easy to travel to regattas (at least three at the FWBC). The Texas Sailing Association – Youth Circuit provides 14 regattas throughout the state. These are fun “road trips” for our families visiting great sailing centers throughout the state.
