The mission of the Fort Worth Boat Club is to advance the community’s knowledge, enjoyment and participation in boating and the nautical arts through its facilities and programs. The Club was established in 1929 and is internationally recognized throughout the sailing world. Located 20 miles from downtown Fort Worth, the Club encompasses fourteen beautifully wooded acres providing a secluded, private family-oriented atmosphere.

The Club features a year-round restaurant and bar for your enjoyment and facilities for private parties and business meetings with breathtaking views of Eagle Mountain Lake. Additionally, tennis courts and an inviting swimming pool with locker facilities are available. Full-service harbor amenities include gasoline, crane hoist and ramp launching, ship’s store, covered powerboat slips, sailboat slips and dry storage facilities and knowledgeable staff at your service seven days each week. Onsite 24-hour security is offered year round, every day.

FWBC offers Club-owned sailboats for use by its members and exciting learn-to-sail programs for both adults and youth in J/22s, double-handed 420s and Optimist dinghies. Summer sailing day camp provides four 2-week sessions for students between the ages of 8 and 18 and a popular adult training program is also available.

We have active sailboat racing throughout the year with one-design and Performance Handicap Rating Formula sailboats competing in a number of regular series at the Club. Many of our racing members participate in national and international regattas each year and FWBC has a long history of hosting regional, national and world championship events.
