TRAVELING FWBC MEMBERS
RECIPROCAL PRIVILEGES
INQUIRY & REQUEST FORM
For Members of Fort Worth Boat Club Traveling Away from Home Port
Reciprocity among yacht clubs establishes a valuable and extensive network, granting members exclusive privileges and amenities when they travel beyond their home ports. This network enriches the member experience by granting access to club facilities globally, including dining, docking, and social events. Members enjoy a welcoming community and warm hospitality as they explore new destinations, cultivating a home-away-from-home atmosphere wherever their journeys lead. This reciprocity not only fosters camaraderie among clubs but also enhances membership by offering a globally connected and supportive community.
When visiting other yacht clubs, look out for the FWBC burgee, a symbol of our affiliation. If you visit a club that does not display the FWBC burgee and they participate in a burgee exchange program, please contact the office for coordination. A burgee exchange is a cherished tradition among yacht clubs where members swap their club's pennant with host clubs during visits. This exchange fosters goodwill and camaraderie, allowing members to showcase their home club’s emblem while building relationships with fellow boaters across the globe.
